Mango Jalapeno Skinny Margarita

Is there anything better than a cold margarita on a hot day? Yes, there is. A guilt-free, sugar-free version of this cocktail favorite. This is my go to drink of the summer and always a crowd pleaser. Infused with mango and jalapeno, this drink is the perfect addition to a hot summer night.

This recipe makes one margarita but you can increase the ingredients and make an entire pitcher as well.

Ingredients:

  • 1oz Tequila

  • 1 Lime

  • 1/2oz Jordan's Skinny Syrup Mango

  • 1oz Jordan's Skinny Syrup Jalapeno Margarita

  • Club Soda

  • Ice

  • 1 tbsp. kosher salt

  • 1 tbsp. Tajin

Let’s Get Started

1. Mix together salt & tajin. Rim your glass with a lime wedge then dip into the salt mixture.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add tequila, the juice of 1 lime & Skinny Syrup flavors. Shake until combined and pour into rimmed glass.

3. Top with club soda and stir. Garnish with mango slice sprinkled with tajin if desired.

Tips & Tricks

  • I prefer an anejo tequila, but any tequila is just fine.

  • If you don't have kosher salt, and salt will do the trick. I prefer a coarser grind of salt for the rim.

  • No shaker? No problem. Just stir all ingredients together and pour into an ice filled glass.

  • Tajin can be found in most grocery stores and usually in the international/Mexican section. It's regularly stocked at Fresh Co. It's a popular Mexican spice used on pretty much everything (fresh cucumbers and fruit are the best!) to enhance flavors. It is not spicy even though it is made from chilis.

  • If jalapeno isn't your thing, there is also a lime margarita mix available. They also make a huge variety of flavors that you can use instead of mango. I like to change it up with their strawberry, passionfruit hibiscus or pina colada flavors as well.
